By choosing a nutrition courses, students can grab dietician jobs in nursing home, hotels, wellness clinics and hospitals.
Nutrition courses are offered at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Besides, you may also opt for diploma courses in nutrition. In general, admissions to the nutrition courses are based on the academic performance of the students. In addition, some universities and institutes offering degrees in nutrition also arrange for entrance examinations for admitting students. Students willing to pursue their masters’ degree in nutrition must have completed their graduation in any science (preferably) subjects including Chemistry, Microbiology, and Medicine. In addition, students may also pursue one year diploma courses in nutrition. Freshers entering into the hospital unit may have to opt for one year training in F&B department. In general, only science graduates are preferred for the post graduate diploma course. On the other hand, candidates willing to pursue a three years bachelor’s degree must have qualified their 10+2 examination with Biology, Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects.
