Admission ProcedureThe admission of the candidates in the MBBS course will be dependent on their performance in the Competitive Entrance Examination that is conducted by the institute itself. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences has 77 seats for the MBBS candidates out of which 37 seats are for the General category, 19 for Other Backward Classes, 5 for Scheduled Tribes, 11 for Scheduled Castes and 5 for Foreign Nationals.Eligibility CriteriaCandidates who are desirous of applying for the MBBS course will have to be 17 years of age as on the 31st of December of the year in which admission is sought. The candidates have to pass their higher secondary examinations (10+2) from a recognized board and score at least 60% in aggregate with English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology as the compulsory subjects.Scholarships and Awards

  • A sum of INR 500 per month is awarded as Summer Fellowships to the deserving candidates after the completion of their departmental projects.
