Admission Procedure For admission to the undergraduate and the postgraduate courses in the college, the candidates have to appear for an interview round. The application procedure for the undergraduate courses begins in the months of April-May and the registration forms for the post graduate courses are made available during the months of March-April and can be downloaded from the official website of the institute.
Eligibility Criteria To apply for the Post Certificate B.Sc Nursing course, the candidates have to pass the General Nursing Midwives from an institute that is recognized by the INC. The candidate must be immunized against Chicken Pox and Hepatitis B and the candidate should also be a registered midwife or nurse. The applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examinations, written test and interview session. 

For B.Sc Nursing, the candidates must be between 17 and 25 years of age and must pass their higher secondary examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The candidates should be immunized against Chicken Pox and Hepatitis B. The applicants will be selected on the basis of their scores in the qualifying examinations and a written test.


To apply for M.Sc Nursing, the candidates must either pass Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc Nursing from a recognized university with at least 55% in aggregate. The candidate should also have at least one year of work experience in the nursing service. The applicant also has to be a registered nurse.


The candidates will be selected on the basis of the following weightage:

40% of the marks scored in B.Sc Nursing

20% of the marks scored at the interview session

40% of the marks scored in the selection test

5 additional points will be awarded to those candidates who have ten or more years of work experience in nursing.

For the Diploma courses, the candidates need to have at least one year of experience as a staff nurse.
