  • Eligibility Criteria :To apply for the Common Entrance Test, the applicants will have to pass their 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their optional subjects.
  • Admission Procedure :Admissions are based on the marks that the applicants obtain in their CET (Common Entrance Test) that is conducted by the Punjab University. There are no merit based admissions. The application forms are made available through the college campus itself. The forms can also be downloaded from the official website. Some seats are reserved for NRI students.

Government Medical College, Chandigarh admits 50 MBBS aspirants each year. In 1996, the MBBS degree offered by this medical institute was recognized by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. For MD and MS courses, the number of seats available is 16 and the courses are of 3 years duration.
