Admission Procedure/Eligibility Criteria For getting admission in the first semester of B.Tech or B.E. program, applicants need to complete higher secondary (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The candidates should not be above 21 years of age. For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years. Admission is granted on the basis of marks obtained in the final examination, physical fitness and the number of attempts made by the candidate in the qualifying examination.Applicants for postgraduate programs need to complete their Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute. Admission is granted on the basis of academic performance, physical fitness and number of attempts made by the applicant in the qualifying examination. (A candidate applying for a part-time program needs to have his/her place of work within a distance of ninety kilometers from the institute’s campus).
