The National Research Laboratory for Conservation of Cultural Property (NRLC or NRLCCP) in Lucknow is a scientific and conservation dedicated institution that deals with the preservation and revival of objects and structures of cultural heritage. It was established in the year 1976 and was funded by UNDP (United National Development Programme) and UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) during its formative years.

This conservational and research laboratory is now associated with the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property in Rome and is constantly working towards bettering their ways of conserving cultural ‘property’. It also provides training programs for conservationists and students interesting restoration of our heritage.
