The Raja Ramanna Center for Advanced Technology specializes in the research of superconductivity, vacuum technology, lasers, cryogenics, accelerators, plasma physics and has a collaboration with the Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC). It is a premier research institute that was established in the year 1984 and started to function in the year 1986.
