School of Aviation Science and Technology is located in Delhi and run by Delhi Flying Club which has a glorious track record that has been maintained over the years. In the year 1931, this organization first kicked off air mail service in India. Both in 1965 and in 1971, Delhi Flying Club participated in war against Pakistan. The AME School of this organization produces successful professionals who are well placed in the renowned Airlines in India and across the globe. Along with offering flying lessons and aviation training, School of Aviation Science and Technology also offers Pilot’s Licenses classes such as, ATPL, PPL and CPL.

Courses offered by School of Aviation Science and Technology, Delhi are:

  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Licence (AMEL)

The course is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

The students can appear in category ‘RN’(Radio Communication & Navigation) Licence Examination and in categories ‘A’ & ‘C Airframe(LWHA) & Engine (PE/JE) examination which is conducted by DGCA, Govt. of India.

Duration of the course is 3 years and after that the students are provided with “On the Job Training” for 1 year so that the students can get Light Aircraft that is CESSNA-152 License.

School of Aviation Science and Technology, Delhi Admissions

School of Aviation Science and Technology, Delhi admissions procedure is selective. Students who have completed 10+2 within 20 years of age or the students who have B.Sc or diploma holder (other than Civil engineering) and not more than 22 years of age are eligible to apply here for aviation training. A medical certificate from a registered doctor is to be submitted to prove no physical disability and color blindness of the candidate.

For admissions at School of Aviation Science and Technology, Delhi, prospective students have to submit typed or handwritten application on plain paper along with full bio-data along and one passport size colored photograph. The photograph must be attested by Gazetted Officer or Principal. The Date of Birth Certificate and other credentials such as, Qualification Certificate (10+2 mark sheet) & a non refundable Demand Draft for Rs 800/- payable at ‘THE DELHI FLYING CLUB LTD. NEW DELHI’ must be included with the application.

The students are selected based upon the written test on subjects such as, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English of 10+2 standard. Successful students are given a call for interview. After successful completion of the aerospace courses, the students get placed in aerospace companies and enjoy a rewarding career. There is sheer dearth of professionals in aerospace industry.
