All applicants are to submit xerox copies of birth certificate and school examination mark sheets with recent passport photographs while submitting completed application forms.

Located in New Delhi, the Sri Guru Teghbahadur Khalsa College was built by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee to commemorate the contributions of the 9th Sikh Guru. The chief objective of the Sri Guru Teghbahadur Khalsa College is to impart students academic knowledge while ensuring that they grow up into being responsible citizens who will contribute to the development of the society. From a modest beginning of only 49 students and a total of four rooms, the Sri Guru Teghbahadur Khalsa College has progressed to being a premier institute for boys and girls providing courses in the arts, science and commerce fields of study.

The college is well known for its discipline and attendance rules. The academic calendar of the Sri Guru Teghbahadur Khalsa College has a minimum of 180 working days; students will also have to attend classes for six days a week.Other than holidays on medical grounds, a student of the Sri Guru Teghbahadur Khalsa College will have to attend more than two thirds of the total classes held in an academic year in order to sit for the University examinations.
