The Times Group has three educational centers, namely, Times School of Journalism, Times School of Marketing and Times Centre for Media Studies. The PG diploma course in Journalism which is offered by Times School of Journalism, New Delhi is of one year duration and comprises media basics, advanced media studies, subject specialization and internship.

Admission Procedure Admission to this course is based on an all-India entrance examination. The admission advertisements usually appear in the months of March/April. The application forms can be downloaded from the official website of the institute and the filled-in forms have to be submitted by the end of May. Once the candidate passes this examination, he/she will have to appear for an interview session. The entrance test usually takes place in the month of June and the course begins in or around July.
Campus Placements The institute has an active placement cell. Candidates who are able to perform well throughout the duration of the course are absorbed by Times Group. Other companies also select students from the institute.

Syllabi/ Curriculum The course has 8 months of classroom training and 4 months of training at any brand that belongs to the Times Group. The student can choose the location of the training.
Eligibility Criteria A graduate in any field with a minimum score of 50% will be considered eligible to apply for the course. There is an age bar and the candidate cannot exceed 28 years of age. However, if the applicant can prove relevant experience, the age limit can be relaxed.
