|Admission Procedure/Eligibility Criteria||For the advanced programs, candidates need to complete senior secondary examination from a recognized institute.For professional programs, applicants should have a graduate degree or equivalent from a recognized university.Admission to different courses involves a 3-step procedure. Eligible candidates need to qualify in the WAT (WLC Admission Test), followed by WPT (WLC Professional Test), personal interview, and individual post-admission counseling.
Each of the WAT and WPT examinations are of 90 minutes duration. WAT consists of 3 sections: English Comprehension & Communication, Analytical Ability and Quantitative Ability.
In the WPT examination, there are separate questionnaires for candidates applying to different courses. The questionnaire for creative school students is set to asses the individual observation power, design, innovation, usage of color, illustration, and drawing abilities of the students. For business school students, the questionnaire tests the applicant’s managerial qualities, general knowledge, and other such issues through situation analysis. Questionnaire for media program students assess the comprehension and analytical writing skills, along with general knowledge of the applicants.
In the interview, the candidates are tested on their basic knowledge of the course applied for, social and communication skills, personality traits, and clarity of thoughts. Students applying for graphic design, media or fashion also need to carry their portfolio to showcase their writing/visual skills.
The post-admission counseling is conducted to clarify any doubts regarding the program applied for, and informing the candidate about the fee details, scholarships, payment plan, and financial aid options.
