Xavier Institute of Engineering (XIE)

The Xavier Institute of Engineering or XIE, Mahim, is a self financed engineering college in Mumbai offering undergraduate degree courses in 3 engineering subjects – Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Engineering and Information Technology. It is managed by the Jesuit Society which has a network of educational institutions all around the world. XIE was established in the year 2005 and is now recognized and approved by the standard organizations of India including All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in New Delhi and the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State Government. Among the students that are admitted to the college, 50% of the seats are reserved for students who are from the Roman Catholic community.
