Eligibility Criteria


  • The minimum academic qualification for pursuing an M.Sc degree is successful completion of graduation in science stream.
  • A student of engineering can also apply to study Master of Science.

Admission Procedure


  • Admission is generally based on merit in graduation. However, there are institutes which conduct an entrance test to judge the aptitude of the candidate.
  • Every applicant must submit at the time of admission copies of mark sheets of school and graduation final examinations.
  • The other essential documents to be submitted during admission are photocopies of identity proofs like voter id card and valid passport and the completely filled up and signed application form.
  • Minimum two passport size photographs of the applicant and registration fees are to be deposited at the institute counters within the date earlier notified.

Duration of Study


The M.Sc program spans for two years. The distance learning students are however exempted from a fixed duration of study.
