Admission Procedure / Eligibility Criteria
  • All international applicants in the college must acquire a F1 student visa before application
  • Non resident students can only take admission in full time courses available at the college
  • A student who is not familiar with the English language must study at the university using a F1 immigration status document
  • Submission of high school and degree / diploma examination mark sheets
  • Entrance examination scores of individual study departments
Campus Placements The Testing and Assessment Center of the college makes arrangements for placement tests. It is a test of the English reading & writing and knowledge of Mathematics of the candidate.

Examinations & Results
  • The department of nursing holds the TEAS Nursing Entrance Examination for all applicants. It is held during the months of March and April.
  • Semester wise examination is held in the college; examinations are held at the end of the fall, summer and spring semesters

  • It is the most famous among the 30 community colleges which are affiliated to the State University of New York.
  • The college was established under the name of New York Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences.
  • Unlike most other colleges in the country, this college does not ask for a SAT reasoning score from the applicant. Instead, entrance examinations are held by each department of study.
