CAT Exam Result 2011-2012

CAT, which is also known as the Common Admission Test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management, has declared its result on Wednesday. CAT took place for 20 days between October 20 to 18 November in 68 Test Centers across 36 cities. Out of 2.06 lakhs sold forms, only 2.05 lakhs registered for CAT and around 1.75 lakhs actually appeared for the test.

  • The results are available at Users can view their scores by entering their enrollment details.
  • All IIMs have replaced GD (Group Discussion) round with Essay writting round followed by Personal Interview (PI).
  • 13 IIMs and more than 150 Management Institutes/Colleges have shared their helpline numbers with students to assist them in admission procedures.

Eligibility Criteria: A CAT candidate needs to be a graduate in any field from a recognized university. The minimum score required here is 50% for General/OBC candidates and 45% for SC/ST aspirants.
Admit Card Availability The candidate will receive the admit card through e-mail.

Availability of Brochure and Forms The CAT vouchers will be made available at any of the designated branches of Axis Bank. The registration can then be done at, the official website of CAT.
Application Mode The voucher has to be bought in exchange of cash.
