Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination, 2012

The Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination, 2012 will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. The selection procedure would include two tiers (I and II) of written examination, and a subsequent skill test , followed by an interview. The selected candidates will be recruited as auditors, tax assistants, statistical investigators, Income Tax inspectors, divisional accountants and sub inspectors in Central Government Ministries, Directorate of Enforcement, CBI, CBDT, CBEC and CAG offices.

Exam Date The Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination, 2012 is scheduled to be held on 15th and 16th of September, 2012.
Exam Time Paper I: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (15th September, 2012)
Paper II: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (15th September, 2012)
Paper III: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon (for Statistical Investigators on 16th of September, 2012)
Fees All General and OBC candidates will have to pay a fee of INR 100. Females and candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will not have to pay any fees.
Mode of Registration The registrations can be done through both offline and online methods.
Eligibility Criteria: Age and Education The candidate should be between 18 to 27 years of age. The aspirants have to be graduates in any field from a recognized university.
Admit Card Availability For the offline applicants the admit cards will be sent to their residential addresses. For online applicants, the admit cards can be downloaded from the SSC website.
Availability of Brochure and Forms The examination notification for the Combined Graduate Level Examination is published on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission and all the national newspapers. There is no separate notification for the Tier II exams as the candidates who clear Tier I exams will be notified the dates directly for the Tier II exams.
Application Mode: Cash, Demand Draft, Credit Card, Net Banking For the offline registration, the candidates have to pay the fee through the Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) which are available in the departmental post offices of the country. For online registrations, the fees can be paid either through the State Bank of India net banking facilities or by SBI challans.
