Combined Higher Secondary Level, LDC etc. Examination-2012

The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the Combined Higher Secondary Level, LDC etc. Examination-2012 for recruitment in the posts of Lower Division Clerks and Data Entry Operators. The examination will consist of a written test and a Data Entry Skill Test.

Important Dates and Parameters:
Exam Date The Combined Higher Secondary Level, LDC etc. Examination-2012 is scheduled to be held on the 21st of October, 2012.
Fees The candidates belonging to the OBC and the General categories will have to pay a fee of INR 100. Females and the SC/ST/Specially abled candidates will not have to pay any fee at all.
Registration Opening Date The registration process will begin on the 14th of July, 2012.
Registration Closing Date The registration process will be declared closed on the 10th of August, 2012 as that is the last date for the submission of forms.
Eligibility Criteria: Age and Education The candidates must be between 18 to 27 years of age as on the 1st of August, 2012. The candidates should pass their higher secondary examinations from a recognized education board. If the candidate has a degree through the distance learning mode, then the institute must be recognized by the Distance Education Council.
Admit Card Availability The admit cards of the candidates will either be sent to their residential address or published in the official website of the SSC two weeks before the date of examination.
Availability of Brochure and Forms The advertisement regarding the examination will be published in all the leading national newspapers and will also be put up on the Staff Selection Commission’s official website.
Application Mode: Cash, Demand Draft, Credit Card, net Banking For the offline applications, the payment of fees has to be made through the Central Recruitment Fee Stamps that are available in the post offices. For the online registrations, the fees have to be paid by using the online payment facility offered by the State Bank of India or through the bank challan system.

The candidates who clear the written examination will be allowed to appear for the Skill test.
