Admission Procedure For Pre-School Department in 2012:

The admission process starts in January. Notification for admission is published in the Hindustan Times. Admission forms are also available at the school website. Online registration starts from 2nd January and ends on 15th January. The age of the students is as per the rules set by the Directorate of Education, government of NCT, Delhi. Only children residing within 7 km radius of the institute are eligible to apply. Selection of children is done on the basis of lottery. The result will be declared on 31st January, 2012.

 

Documents required to be submitted along with application forms are -

  • 2 copies of passport size photographs of the student and parents
  • Photocopy of municipal birth certificate (duly attested)
  • Photocopy of residence proof (passport/voter ID card/ration card)
  • Photocopy of class XII school leaving certificate (for ward of former alumni)
  • Photocopy of latest fee slip of elder sibling (if applicable)

 

The admission in Montessori to Std X is subject to availability of seats. The admission procedure starts in April.

 

Admission to class XI:

Admission is offered on the basis of marks obtained in the class X board examination, subject to availability of seats.

(For Internal Candidates)

 

Weightage for admission will be based on the following parameters:

  • Scholastic performance in Std IX – 20%
  • Scholastic performance in Std X – 75%
  • Non-Scholastic performance in Std X (SUPW, PT, Values, Attitudes, other performing and literary skills) – 5%
  • Aggregate of Std Xth board examination marks and average of maths and science – for science students
  • Aggregate of Std Xth board examination marks and percentage of maths- for commerce students

 

[As per Directorate of Education rules, 25% seats are reserved for children coming from the economically weaker section (EWS). 5% seats are reserved for children of staff, 5% is reserved for children of former alumni, 20% is reserved for children having an elder sibling in the school, 20% seats are reserved for discretionary. Excluding the reserved seats for different categories, remaining seats (25%) will be distributed equally amongst boys and girls, to ensure no gender bias.
