Admission Procedure / Eligibility Criteria For admission to pre-school (nursery) standard in 2012-2013 session:

Registration forms for admission are available on the school website. Admission forms are available between 2nd January and 16th January. The age of the children should be of minimum 3 years on 31st March, 2012. Along with the admission form, a demand draft or pay order of INR 25 needs to be sent. The draft/pay order should be in favor of “DPS Rohini”. The last date for submission of application forms is 16th January. The first list of selected candidates will be displayed on 1st February. If seats are available, second list of selected students will be published on 29thFebruary. Admission process will close on 31st March.

Admission points according to different parameters are -

  • Students residing within locality of school – 30
  • First born or girl child – 5
  • Children who have siblings (own brother or sister) studying in the school – 30
  • Children with special needs- 5
  • Single parent (widow or widower) – 5
  • Transfer students – 5
  • Children of former alumni – 20

[Of the total number of seats, 20% seats are reserved for children under management quota, 25% seats are reserved for children coming from EWS (Economically Weaker Section), 5% seats are reserved for children of the school staff, and 50% seats are for children belonging to general category].

For candidates belonging to EWS category, admission forms can be downloaded from the website of the Directorate of Education (www.edudel.nic.in). Admission fee of INR 25 is waived off.

School Timing Nursery to Class I: 8:00 am to 12:15 pm

Class II to Class XII: 7.30 am to 1.45 pm
