Admission Procedure | The school admits all the students of its Junior Wing (R.S. Junior Modern School, Humayun Road), after completion of class V. For students coming from other schools, admission is offered for standards VI to IX and XI, subject to availability of seats.
For getting admission to classes VI to IX, students need to apply in the 4th week of February. The application should be clearly marked, whether the student wants admission as a ‘Boarder’ or a ‘Day Scholar’. The application should be accompanied by the copy of birth certificate, result of previous class, and any other sports or extra curricular achievements performed by the candidate.
The candidates will have to appear for an entrance examination, which is held generally in the 2nd or 3rd week of March. Admission tests are taken on English, Mathematics, Hindi, and Science. Candidates qualifying in the written examination are called for a personal interview, along with their parents.
Admission to class IX generally starts after the publication of class X CBSE and ICSE results. Admission is granted on the basis of marks obtained in the Xth board examination. |
