St. Mary’s School, Safdarjung Enclave is the recipient of the British Council International School Award. In order to prove its commitment to the societal responsibilities, it has joined hands with the National Association of the Blind and the Spastic School of Northern India to provide inclusive education to students who belong to the specially abled or the economically weaker sections of the society simultaneously with the other children. The Santa Maria Education Society looks after the management of the school and the educational institution is also recognized by the Delhi Administration.

Medium of Instruction English is the medium of instruction used in this educational institution.
Admission Procedure The school holds admission for candidates in Std I and in order to be eligible for the same, the candidates have to be six years of age as on 30th of September of the year in which admission is sought.


The admission procedure usually begins in the first half of the month of March every year. The list of selected candidates is usually put up after a week.


Candidates who are desirous of admission to Std II to IX will have to appear for a written entrance test.
