Admission Procedure / Eligibility Criteria The school admits students to pre-school (nursery) classes. Application forms are generally issued between 31st January and 4th February. Candidates seeking maximum points (50) are eligible for draw of lottery. For the current session, drawing of lottery is over. The minimum age of the student should be of 3 years. The completed admission form, along with fee needs to be deposited by 4th Feb between 8.30 am and 12 noon. At the time of collection of fees, verification of original documents will be done. The documents required for verification are -

 

  • Birth Certificate of the student issued by Municipal Corporation, Delhi
  • Proof of business or office address of parents
  • Proof of residence (any one – passport, ration card, voter I card, driving license)
  • Report card of sibling (if applicable)
  • Transfer Certificate, board examination pass certificate or report card (for former alumni’s ward)
  • SC/ST/OBC Certificate (if applicable)
  • Medical Certificate from approved institute or doctor (if child has some special needs)
  • Affidavit from notary stating whether the child is a first or a second born (if applicable)

 

For guardians, along with the above-mentioned documents, some additional documents to be submitted are -

  • Address Proof
  • Authorization letter by the parents
  • Recent photograph
  • Affidavit as evidence of guardianship

 

The points distributed on the basis of different parameters are as follows:

  • Children residing within 12 kms from school – 20
  • Children residing beyond 12 kms from school – 10
  • Eldest child – 30
  • Second child – 10

 

[Of the total number of seats (176), 44 seats (25%) are reserved for candidates belonging to economically weaker section, 26 seats (15%) are reserved for candidates from management quota, 35 seats (20%) are reserved for siblings, 11 seats (6.5%) are reserved for children of former alumni and school staff, and the remaining 60 seats are for children belonging to general categories].
