The Indian School, New Delhi was set up by the Gyan Mandir Society and it encourages its students to become independent thinkers and passionate about whatever it is that they enjoy the most doing. Upto std VI, the students do not have to go through any formal examination system and the syllabi from std I to XII are based on the guidelines that have been set by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Medium of Instruction The Indian School uses English as its medium of instruction.
Admission Procedure For admissions to the nursery classes, the candidates have to be at least 3 years of age. The registration process begins on 2nd of January, 2012 and will continue till the 16th of January, 2012. The registration forms can be collected from the school premises between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon on all the working days of the week.

For lateral admissions from Std I to XI, the guardians of the candidates have to send an email to the school forwarding a request for admission. The mail should have attached the birth certificate of the candidate and the reason for admission.
