Banasthali Vidyapith University is a university for women and was previously known as Shri Shantabai Shiksha Kutir. The institute’s name was changed to Banasthali University in the year 1943 and it became a deemed university in the year 1983. Aside from full time courses, the university also offers Diploma and Certificate courses in subjects like Journalism & Mass Communication, E-Commerce, web designing, computer hardware and maintenance.

|Eligibility Criteria||For the BA course, the candidates will have to pass their higher secondary examinations.
For the post graduation courses, the candidates must have a graduate degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Candidates who want to pursue a B.Ed will have to score 50% in Graduation.
For B.Sc and BCA, the candidates need to score at least 60% in their 10+2 examinations.
