Admission Procedure/ Eligibility Criteria Undergraduate Arts & Sciences

  • Students applying for the undergraduate program in Dartmouth need to submit a properly filled in application form along with their financial aid application (if applicable).

 

Dartmouth Medical School

  • Candidates willing to pursue the MD program must provide their MCAT scores. Those who have cleared a semester in biochemistry will be given additional preference. Both written and verbal communication skills in English are required for getting admission in the medical school.

 

Thayer School of Engineering

  • Dartmouth students who have completed their AB degree majoring in engineering sciences will be directly admitted to the B.E. program. Candidates with an accredited degree in engineering may also apply for the BE program.

 

Tuck School of Business

  • Admission to this business school is highly competitive and depends upon the decision of the admission committee. International applicants with a valid US visa can apply at this business school.

 

Graduate Arts & Sciences

  • Candidates applying at the graduate level need to submit a properly filled up application form along with their undergraduate transcripts, GRE scores, and letters of recommendation (3).
Scholarships/Financial Aid Undergraduate Arts & SciencesAt the undergraduate level, Dartmouth offers need based financial assistance to students. Candidates applying for the financial aid need to submit their financial aid profile. Besides, they need to also file for FAFSA (Free application for Federal Student Aid).

Dartmouth Medical School

Every year over 84% of DMS students receive some kind of financial aid. Financial aid awards are inclusive of a base loan. As of now, the university offers a base loan of $24,300.

Thayer School of Engineering

Ph.D and MS students are completely aided through research; hence they need not apply for any financial aid. However, MEM and BE students need to fill up their profile application form. International applicants are not granted the facility of federal loan funding.

Tuck School of Business

Students need to contact the Financial Aid office for availing loans, fellowships and scholarships. The school offers need and merit based scholarship programs to both US as well as international applicants.

Graduate Arts and Sciences

International applicants need to contact the graduate program office in order to qualify for the university financial aid.
