Admission Procedure/Eligibility Criteria | For B.Tech Programs
Admission to undergraduate engineering and technological courses are made through an All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). Candidates should complete senior secondary (10+2) examination with a minimum of 60% in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and English are eligible for the entrance examination. Candidates with a B.Sc (having Physics, Chemistry and Maths) degree and at least 60% in aggregate are also eligible for the course. Applicants should be of minimum 17 years and maximum age should be 25 years. [85% of the total seats are reserved for Delhi-resident students and 15% are for non-Delhi resident students]. For M.Tech Programs Applicants need to have a bachelor’s degree in the concerned branch of engineering with a minimum of 60% in aggregate. Candidates with a master degree in physics, electronics science, computer science, statistics, or operational research with at least 60% marks in aggregate are also eligible. Applicants for fulltime program need to qualify in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) examination. Applicants will be selected on the basis of score in GATE and personal interview. [Applicants for part-time programs need to work in an engineering organization or an equivalent approved institution with at least 1 year of work experience. Candidates need to submit an NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the employer]. For MBA Programs Candidates need to qualify in the CAT examination. Applicants need to have a 1st class master degree in any branch of science or commerce. The applicants should be of minimum 21 years of age. Candidates having a bachelor’s degree in technology or engineering are also eligible for the course. Admission is based on the CAT score, group discussion and personal interview. (In case of OBC/SC/ST candidates 5% marks relaxation is allowed). For Ph.D Programs Applicants need to have a masters degree in the concerned subject with a minimum percentage of 60 in aggregate. Eligible candidates have to appear for a personal interview. |
