Emory University is a renowned private university located in Atlanta region of United States. The University was named after Bishop John Emory. A group of Methodists founded Emory College in Oxford, Georgia in the year 1836. The land on which the University is now established was granted by Asa Candler, the Coca Cola Company’s president.
