Admission Procedure/Eligibility Criteria For postgraduate diploma courses:

 

Only Indian nationals are eligible for admission. However, some seats are reserved for NRI candidates. Applicants for postgraduate diploma courses need to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

 

Students who have applied for the final examination are also eligible to apply. However, candidates with postgraduate degree in any discipline and media-related work experience will be given preference.

 

Eligible candidates need to qualify in an entrance examination. Short-listed candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion/Personal Interview. Admission will be granted on the basis of ranks in the entrance examination, group discussion and/or interview. The weightage for written examination and interview/group discussion is 85:15.

Fee Structure For postgraduate diploma courses:

 

Journalism (English) – INR 34,000

Journalism (Hindi) – INR 34,000

Advertising & Public Relations – INR 48,000

Radio & Television Journalism – INR 76,000

Journalism (Oriya) – INR 20,000

 

NRI students will have to pay US$8,000 for 1st and 2nd courses and US$12,000 for 3rd and 4th courses respectively.

 

Scholarships For postgraduate diploma courses, freeships (50% cut-off of tuition fee) are offered to students.
