International Institute for Population Science, Mumbai

International Institute for Population Science, Mumbai started by the Government of India, the United Nations and Sir Dorabji Tata Trust is a premier academy for training and research in Population Studies. Apart from imparting education, the institute also plays a significant role in providing consultancy to the Government and non-Government organizations in the field of population.

Students from all over the world come to the institute for studying and many alumni of this academy now hold primary positions in different Population and Health services in different countries. The research projects of this institute are funded mostly by the World Bank, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the United Nations Populations Fund, Government of India, International Labor Organization, World Health Organization, and such other organizations.
