National Institute of Technology (NIT) is a joint initiative by Government of Himachal Pradesh and Government of India. Initially, it came up as the Regional Engineering College. It offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctorate in Humanities and Sciences and Engineering. The organization has received the status of a Deemed University due to its quality education, great infrastructure and recognition in the world.
The university has its campus at Anu in district Hamirpur in Himachal Pradesh. It lies on the Toni Devi; Awaha Devi Road. The campus is surrounded by the beautiful Dhauladhar ranges, which offers great views apart from a refreshing atmosphere.
