Yale University

Yale University in New Haven offers bachelors, masters and doctoral programs in various subjects starting from architecture, engineering to nursing and music. In general, the application procedures for the international students are same as that of the US candidates. Admission Procedure/ Eligibility Criteria For admission at Yale University, international applicants need to apply straightway to the college, program or school where they’ll get their desired degree.

Yale Graduate School of Arts and Sciences

  • For admission to this school, candidates need to appear for some examinations like the International English language testing system, general management admission test, and the graduate record examination.

Yale College

  • For admission to the Yale College, international applicants need to provide academic records of their secondary school, school rank, common application, letter of recommendation at the time of admission. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

Yale School of Architecture

  • Candidates who have completed their GRE program are eligible to apply at this school. Non-English speaking candidates need to provide their TOEFL scores.

School of Art

  • The school invites applications from students in the beginning of September. Students applying at this school must hold a bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.

Divinity School

  • Applicants are granted admission on the basis of their academic potential. In addition they need to also provide their official transcripts, personal essay, writing sample, letters of recommendation (3), and IELTS score card at the time of admission.

School of Drama

  • Admission to the schools depends on the evaluation process of the admission committee.

School of Engineering and Applied Science

  • For admission to this school, international applicants need to provide common application, school rank, academic records of their secondary school, letter of recommendation at the time of admission. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

School of Forestry & Environmental Studies

  • At the time of admission, candidates need to provide their application form, personal statement, supplemental statements, resume, letters of recommendation (3), official transcripts, GMAT/GRE/LSAT scores, IELTS/TOEFL scores, application fee, and writing sample.

Law School

  • Candidates need to appear for the LSAT for admission to the law school.
